This is the cardboard bedside table I made on the laser cutter.
View Larger I started this project out by trying to find a solution on how to store my vinyls. I didn’t just want to build generic shelves so I decided to play with the concept of making something solid/stable out of a shape that didn’t look like it. While sketching out my ideas, I noticed the way vinyls slanted and therefore came up with a shelf that would mimic this incline. I’m really happy with the final outcome, particularly with how the shelves interact with each other. I chose not to attach them in order to be able to arrange them in different ways. I also think each of the shelves’ colors really go well with each other and enforce the idea that while the individual shelves aren’t connected, they come together to form a cohesive piece of furniture.

View Larger I painted them white before deciding to paint each of them different colors and cut out some poplar to cover the plywood edges.
